Serving at Easter 2026

Easter at Lakeside is one of the biggest celebrations of the year, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Whether it’s welcoming guests, helping with parking, creating a great experience for kids, or serving behind the scenes, there’s a place for you to make a difference!

Date

As a parking attendant, you’ll be the first friendly face our guests see when they arrive—so a warm smile is a must! You’ll help create a smooth and welcoming parking experience by serving between gatherings for a shift. 

As a greeter, you’ll be one of the first smiling faces guests see as they arrive and the last as they leave. You’ll welcome people at all entrance points, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Greeters serve until the message begins, then return during the last song to say goodbye and send guests off with a smile. 

As an usher, you’ll help guests find available seats while creating a welcoming and calm environment. Some guests may feel flustered or worried about seating, so patience and a friendly, relational approach are key. Your presence helps ensure everyone feels comfortable and cared for. 

As a Host, you’ll welcome guests, assist baptism participants, or assist with food (or grill on Saturday) while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

As part of our Babies/Toddlers team, you will help create a loving, safe, and nurturing environment for little ones to experience the love of Jesus at Easter! This role includes holding babies, caring for toddlers, and working together with a volunteer team to welcome all families with joy and kindness!

As part of our Preschool & Kinder Team, you will help create a warm, welcoming environment where young children discover and celebrate Jesus at Easter! This role includes playing and engaging with young children, and assisting with classroom activities- such as snack time and crafts!

As part of our Elementary Team, you’ll help share the hope of Jesus in a fun and meaningful way! As a volunteer, you will participate alongside children as we learn about and celebrate Easter in games, lesson, small groups and more!

As part of our Kids Hospitality team, you will greet families with warmth and excitement, and help walk new families to their child’s classroom, getting to know families and answering any questions along the way! (Families are welcome to serve together here!)

There are a variety of needs for our Kids Egg Hunt! We will have a set up team and take down team on Saturday. Our "Egg Hunt" teams will help hide the eggs on our grassy field, greet kids, direct families, and pass our bags of candy to kids! We could also use people to prep plastic eggs and prize bags the week before! Middle Schoolers, High Schoolers, and Adults are welcome to serve here!
